Clear Ice Blocks

At Colorado Ice Works, we manufacture all of our large, clear-ice blocks in house.  Our water is filtered and softened, then run through a reverse osmosis filtration system.  The ice is frozen slowly utilizing directional freezing. During the freezing process, we circulate the water slowly using submersible pumps. This process allows us to produce the finest ice for sculpting, or, craft cocktail ice.

The ice blocks measure 40 inches tall by 20 inches wide and are 10 inches thick. These blocks weigh just under 300 lbs. All of our craft ice and ice sculptures start off from these pristine blocks of clear ice.

Due to our high volume, we may not have enough ice on hand to be able to sell 300-pound blocks.  We do sell larger chunks and scrap ice by the pound for chilling purposes only.
