We set up luges at conventions, bars and restaurants, hotels, event centers and college parties. A luge is a piece of ice designed to pour liquid into OR on top of ice. The liquid flows through (or on top of) the ice and into a glass or wide open mouth. Sounds fun right? At Colorado Ice Works, we sell two types of ice luges. The first, a custom ice sculpture or company logo with a funnel and tubing run through the ice. A “party luge” is the other type we offer. This type of luge requires direct mouth contact with the ice and is guaranteed to get the party started!

This is an example of a “Party Luge”. These are available for pick up or delivery. These are best used for house parties or smaller get togethers. With this style of luge you CANNOT put a glass underneath to catch the booze. It HAS to be slurped off of the ice. We sell these luges for 125.00 and can sometimes customize them for a small fee. If you need a plastic tray to contain the water, we sell them for 25.00 ea.

The second type of luge we do is essentially a sculpture that we turn into a luge. These luges (and the ones below) have a funnel and tubing placed into the ice. This makes it easier to pour and easier to receive the drink. While these luges will chill the booze a little, they will not make the drink ice cold. The purpose of this type of luge is to have fun! Engage with potential clients or guests. Pour a craft cocktail through the luge and into a glass. However, don’t forget the craft ice! Check out some more examples below.
